Joshua Rose

Joshua Rose is a seasoned dissertation tutor with 12 years’ experience guiding UK undergraduates and postgraduates from first idea to successful defence. After earning his PhD in Education from the University of Cambridge, he became Senior Lecturer in Research Methods and later served as an external examiner for Russell Group universities. Joshua has personally mentored over 1,500 students, with 81 % achieving a first-class or distinction dissertation. His frameworks on question refinement, ethical data collection and SPSS analysis are published in Studies in Higher Education. Regularly invited to speak at the UK Council for Graduate Education, he combines academic rigour with an approachable coaching style that builds confidence and independence.
